Rachel works in the Duke Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development and is involved in Alzheimer’s disease research. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Syracuse University and has worked in a variety of positions over many years to help older people maximize well-being and age with dignity. A relative newcomer to North Carolina, Rachel loves living in Durham with her husband and silly chihuahua mix, Miss Lottie.
