Meals on Wheels does more than deliver food; it provides a vital safety check and human connection for homebound neighbors—values that mirror our own commitment to looking after vulnerable people going through times of difficulty and transition.
Looking back on our role in founding the Feed the Need Gala, we are most proud of its transformation into the organization's largest annual fundraising event. Spearheaded by our founder, Gray Ellis, this "party with a purpose" has raised critical funds to eliminate waitlists and expand services for Durham’s seniors. This work continues to matter because the need is ever-growing. Seeing the community come together—from business leaders to local artists—to ensure our elderly neighbors can age with independence and dignity is the ultimate realization of our firm’s promise: "Moving forward, together".
