Dear Friends of Meals on Wheels of Durham:

Welcome to our new website.  In our website you will find important information about our organization.   You will also find upcoming events, information about our mission and our history in Durham.  Many of you have found our new look pleasing while others of you have found browsing our new site a lot easier to navigate. As always, we are working everyday to improve our brand, our volunteer base while continuing to fundraise for those in need in the community of Durham.

We have a huge year ahead.  We are kicking off the year with many great events. As the year draws to a close, we are planning a 100 “Who’s Who” that supports Meals on Wheels in Durham at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club. Please check our special events calendar to see how you can participate.

Our Executive Board has been working on your behalf and we are operating efficiently to bring you the organization that you need. This real care and concern of our generation for the fading generations who can no longer help themselves is a blessing for the one who gives and the one who receives. Our clients think of our program in terms of a friendly face and a warm meal offered with love and caring -- for someone who might have no family or able close ones there to aid them in the final years of life.

Take a moment to enjoy our website, and if you believe in us, if you care about the people we serve, perhaps you can be part of our commitment to service.
